LITRE METER OFFERS DIGMESA FLOW METERS FOR UK COFFEE, VENDING AND DRINKS BUSINESSES

UK flowmeter specialist Litre Meter (www.litremeter.com) has introduced a range of flowmeters from Swiss manufacturer Digmesa which specialises in drink flow measurement.

Digmesa meters are used worldwide in coffee and vending machines and in bars and other establishments where drinks must be served in measured quantities. They are currently measuring the flow of fluids including water, coffee, tea, wine, beer, fruit juices, cola, mineral water and milk in locations from German Bierkellers to the airport in Sydney, Australia, where all drinks served in the bars are dispensed through Digmesa meters.

The meters offer a measuring accuracy of +/- 0.25 per cent, even in long term operation and across a temperature range from -10 to +120°C. The design is based on detection of electronic pulses generated by an impeller turned by the fluid flow. Different materials, bearings and electrical properties can be supplied to meet the needs of different applications, including variants that can be used to automatically switch off pumps or other equipment if flows fall below speficied levels.

The Digmesa product line complements the range of flowmeters built by Litre Meter in its own premises in Buckingham.
